Allan Deviation, or ADEV, is a core oscillator specification used across the industry. This core measurement was developed due to oscillators and clocks having noise that caused the traditional statistical measures to diverge. With the advent of ADEV, more meaningful clock comparisons could be made, and a greater understanding of oscillator and clock stability achieved. We perform ADEV screening on virtually any electronic oscillator or crystal. Custom test fixtures and test profiles can be created to support any customer footprint, and temperatures.
